Vaccinations
Vaccinating your pets against disease
is one of the most important aspects of pet health care. Proper vaccination can spare your pets from
such potentially deadly diseases as rabies, distemper and feline leukemia. Vaccinations must be
re-administered periodically to protect your pets
from diseases and keep them healthy for a lifetime.

Preventive Care
We recommend a complete
physical exam for your pet on a yearly basis. Lots of
changes can occur from year to year, especially as your pet gets older. Preventative health care recommendations are made based on examination
findings and your pet’s individual needs and situation,
which you help us to determine. This may include blood, urine, or fecal
tests, vaccinations, dietary or exercise advice, and life-style
changes.

Allergy Program
At Pet Vet Lakeshore Hospital, we'll help you determine your pet's veterinary allergies and treat the symptoms so that they can enjoy their life as much as you do!
We provide testing for food and environmental allergies and offer non-steroid
medications and allergy shots to reduce your pet's itching and discomfort.

Pet Eye Care
Using a state-of-the-art device called a
Tonopen, we are able to accurately measure your
pet’s intraocular pressure with this quick,
painless procedure. We use this diagnostic test any time we
have a patient with a “red eye” and for glaucoma
screening tests. We can also effectively treat your pet for dry eye,
ulcers, and tear duct flushing.

Ear Infections
Chronic ear infections can be a sign of a deeper problem. If your pet suffers from recurrent ear infections, we'll examine your pet's ears and prescribe a treatment plan to help make your pet more comfortable. At Pet Vet Lakeshore Hospital, we offer ear flushing procedures,
and treatment for conditions such as ear mites, ear infections and chronic ear
problems.

Veterinary Dental Care
We believe that proper dental care play an
important part in your "best friend's" well being. Dental problems can
lead to gingivitis and other dental conditions that can threaten your pet's
health.
Our doctors perform in-house surgeries and dental
procedures using equipment and technology to offer pet dental procedures such as crowns,
extractions, fluoride treatment, teeth polishing, and full mouth digital dental
X-rays.

Skin & Dermatology Problems
Dermatology and skin disorders can lead to your pet having itching problems,
hair loss, skin infections, ringworm, mites, and "hot spots". If you pet
is constantly scratching, or licking, we'll help you determine the cause of your
pet's skin problem and help you with a treatment plan to make your pet more
comfortable.

APPOINTMENTS
We'll be happy
to make an appointment for you and your pet at your convenience. We
offer early drop off and all day care if needed to fit into your
