Vinny Boyaninsky, DVM
Senior Veterinarian
Dr. Boyaninsky earned his
Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1990 from the University of Bulgaria.
He has been practicing in Ontario since May of 2000, following his licensing
by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario after passing his board and
surgical examinations.
Dr. Boyaninsky, was born in
Bulgaria and practiced Veterinary medicine there for three and one-half
years. He moved to the United States where he lived for two and one-half
years before moving to Canada in 1996.
He regularly attends
continuing education meetings to keep up to date on the
most current advances in Veterinary medicine, including
the Western Veterinary Conference in Las Vegas in 2007.
His special interest is in small animal surgery and
endoscopy. Dr. Boyaninsky lives in
Mississauga with his wife and two daughters. Their family is made complete
by their housecat “Paula” who is gray and white and was born in 1997. Dr.
Boyaninsky is fluent in three languages; English, Bulgarian and Russian. He
loves to play all sports in his spare time, but tennis is his passion.
Dainius Verbickas, DVM
Dr. Verbickas graduated from
the Ontario Veterinary College in 2004, having first earned his Bachelor of
Science in Animal Science from the Lithuanian Veterinary Academy in 1990.
He is married and has one son.
Dr. Verbickas has a special interest in
internal medicine and small exotics. In his spare time, he enjoys
reading, hiking, cycling and traveling, and just relaxing at home with his
cat.
Arunas Jonusas, DVM
Dr. Arunas graduated from The Lithuanian Veterinary Academy
in 1995 with the degree of Veterinary Surgeon. After graduating, Dr. Jonusas began practicing in his birth country, Lithuania, as a farm
Veterinarian. Following the crash of the Soviet Union, he returned to the
Veterinary Academy and trained to work with companion animals. Dr. Jonusas
came to Canada in 2004 where he worked and studied to realize his dream of
practicing in Canada. He passed the Ontario Veterinary College Board exams
in 2008.
Dr. Jonusas is very interested in companion animal diagnostics and
surgery. He finds it very rewarding to find out what is wrong with a sick
pet and be able to make it feel better. On a personal note, Dr. Jonusas is a single parent of two
daughters, one here in Canada studying biology at York University and the
other is married, with two children and lives in England. Dr. Jonusas is a
sports fan. He plays basketball but is a huge fan of any type of team
oriented sports. Dr. Jonusas speaks several languages; Lithuanian, Latvian,
Russian and English. He also understands polish but feels he isn’t as
proficient in speaking it!
